Two men threatened a service station worker with a knife in a frightening early-morning attack in Narrabri today.

Police are investigating after the incident about 4.40am at the Newell Highway business, in which the men held the employee at knifepoint.

Walgett Shire Markets -Christmas

After the “Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day” at our last markets in September with that awful wind, we have regrouped and decided to put on a final market for 2019.

We have decided to run a little earlier than normal hoping we can start everyone off with their Christmas shopping and avoid clashing with other markets in our area.

We have added some entertainment, raffles, some good food options and even a visit from Santa so we hope you can join us and make our last markets in 2019 a resounding success.

Don’t forget it is FREE to have a stall at Walgett!

Please share with anyone who may be interested in participating.
