Wee Waa is Australia's Cotton Capital and the place Daft Punk selected to launch it's album Random Access Memories in 2013, a dynamic rural community situated in the rich agricultural heartland of the Lower Namoi Valley in North West NSW. Netball took centre stage when Burren Junction Public School’s open team travelled to Yamba this week, with the beach as a perfect scenic backdrop to their shot at going for state glory.
The small school from the north west proved unstoppable once again in round three of the 2025 NSWPSSA Small Schools Netball Knockout Competition as they scored a dominant victory to book a ticket to the state finals in Sydney this September.
